About the company

Contechs are recruiting on behalf of their client a British multinational automobile manufacturer which produces luxury vehicles and sport utility vehicles. They are looking for a Project Planner to join their expanding team on an 8 month rolling contract basis. The role will be based in Dunton, Essex.

Job Description

As a Project Planner, your main responsibilities are:

• Work with and manage OEM's, vendors and contractors.
• Manage customer expectations and host project update reviews with management teams.
• Develop project scopes, enquires and plans.
• Support CIB Infrastructure project delivery through quality, cost, and timing.
• Lead Health & Safety activities for each project including Risk Assessments & Method Statements, permits to work, inductions, building regulations, standards, CDM, etc...

Qualifications / Skills needed

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project
• Project management of automotive/construction projects
• AutoCAD and 2D drawing knowledge
